We moved into our new home at the end of October 2007. Since then we have just had dirt in our yard. Last week we finally started the long awaited landscaping project. It started with cement. We decided to add a cement pad behind the third car garage so the kids would have a place to ride their bikes, do sidewalk chalk, etc. When they are older we will probably add a basketball hoop. We also added the sidewalk from the back patio to the cement pad and another from the cement pad to the driveway. That was finished last week and this week the crew came to place rocks and to start the sprinklers. It is so much fun to see things starting to take shape. I don't really have any idea how long this project will take but I can't wait to have grass!
