Actually, we didn't see any lions or bears, but we did get a good look at some sleeping/lazy tigers. We went to the zoo yesterday.
That is Ally's friend, Megan, behind us.
Dalton, Holly, Allison and Jackson Snow Jordan, Aidan, Bella and Kason Bengtzen Shelbie, Matt and Cruz Workman Nick, Ashley and Megan Romrell
Dalton thought it was great fun to stand directly in front of the trunk so he would get sprayed. He was soaked!
They loved pretending that they were holding the large bones.
All the kids had great stamina. Jackson was the only one who was allowed in the stroller and he wanted to push the stroller about half the time.
All the monkeys looking at the monkeys.
The kids are so lucky to have so many great friends living so close! We are grateful for our neighbors everyday!

Checking out the giraffes. They came up so close to us. I have never been that close to a giraffe before. It was pretty neat!
We had a great time! There were a few times of crying and whininess but overall, the kids did great! They were disappointed because we didn't get to ride the train but maybe we will have more time next time we go.

Ethan went to the Pocatello "zoo" on a school field trip a few days ago. He came home and told me that the zoo was pretty lame. Maybe we'll have to take a real trip to the zoo so we can see cool animals. You know, other than just goats and wolves.
wait, aren't there new bears? I thought there was supposed to be a polar bear . . .
The bears and new exhibits don't open until June 1st. We are excited about it though. If you ever want to go let me know. We have season passes and we can bring a couple of guests.
