We were thrilled to be able to spend last weekend with Jeremy's family up in Park City. His parent's had arranged for a beautiful, big house for us all to stay in. It had four floors but the life saver for me was that it also had an elevator. When we first got there the elevator wasn't working and we had to haul all our stuff up four flights of stairs. That was a little strenuous but once they got the elevator fixed I was a wimp and always used it when I was going up.

Who are those skiiers?

On Saturday we found an elementary school with a playground and a great big grassy area. The kids thought it was great just to play on the playground until Grandma and Grandpa brought out four kites. There wasn't a ton of wind but enough to get the kites off the ground several times.

The kites all had to be assembled so it was a good thing that we had so many good minds with us. The men spent most of their time assembling the kites but they did get in some football and frisbee throwing. They had as much fun as the kids.
It was such a nice relaxing weekend. We didn't have too much on the agenda. Most of the time was spent watching the olympics and playing games while the kids played Nintendo or with the special little toys Grandma brought.
We did head over to the Olympic Park Friday afternoon. It was great fun to see the skiiers practice their aerial tricks. The kids were interested for a few minutes and then had more fun exploring. Here are some pictures of them.
