Construction!

Well, it looks like we are in for a summer of construction.  They started digging a hole for a new house across the street today.  Dump trucks have been coming down the street all day trying to haul away the excess dirt.  We are glad to be one step closer to having neighbors but I am not thrilled about all the big trucks that will be driving down the street constantly, the noise from the heavy machinery and the nail guns, and all the dirt and dust that will be floating around in the air. 

Apparently this is just the beginning.  There is another lot diagonal from us that is also supposedly sold and ready to build, and they are going to start developing the road that will continue down our street.  We are the last house before the road stops so the work on the road will be right next door to us.  Once that is done the houses will start to go up.  I know that several of the lots have already been sold.  So, we are definitely in for some construction and I don't know when it will stop.
