More Christmas Activities

Every year after opening our own gifts on Christmas morning, we jump in the car and head over to Grandma and Grandpa Snow's house to open family gifts there. The adults exchange names and the kids all get a present from Grandma and Grandpa. In addition to getting another gift, the kids love seeing their cousins and talking about what Santa brought them. Then later in the afternoon, Grandma and Grandpa Snow come to our house for a quick visit to see what the kids got.
We always get together with the Dalton side of the family as well. Sometimes it is on Christmas but often it has been on a day before or after because it is hard to find a time when everyone is available. This year we got together on the 28th because Mary's family didn't come down from Idaho until the evening of the 27th. It was fun to see everyone and the kids were thrilled to be able to play with their cousins who they don't get to see that often anymore. The big boys worked on a puzzle while the girls went into the office to visit with Rachel on the computer (a video chat thing like Skype). She and Spencer are living in Atlanta while Spencer goes to Pharmacy school. We miss having her around but it is very nice to have technology that allows us to chat with her and see her even though she is not here.
We had a fabulous Christmas! We love getting together with all our family. How lucky we are to have so many family members so close.

Kate, I'm thrilled you got a picture of the big boys doing the puzzle. I took two pictures but they were both fuzzy. I loved it.
