We pass by a miniature golf course everytime we get on the freeway and everytime we pass the kids ask if we can go there. Finally, a couple of weeks ago we said yes. The kids were so excited! Of course, we had to go on the course with the castle. Dalton is getting the hang of the game and even Holly is doing better.
Last time we went, Dalton wanted to get all hole-in-ones so he cheated the whole way through. This time we told them that the fun of the game is hitting the ball so it doesn't matter how many times you have to hit it to get it into the cup. Allison still just wanted to pick up her ball and drop it into the cup.
It was fun to be together as a family and for the most part it was argument free--a rarity for our family.
At the end of the evening we let Dalton practice at the batting cages. He is getting pretty good at baseball. It is fun to see him enjoy a variety sports so much. What a cute little guy!

How fun. And how great for the kids to one day ask (because they will ask and ask even though you always say no) and to have you actually say yes this time! I love the the girls are in her dressy dresses to golf. What sweet girls. And yes, Dalton is quite the sporty boy. He'll be one of those popular kids in high school I bet.
