Conference Sunday

Today is the first Sunday in April which means it is General Conference Sunday. The day we stay home from our regular Sunday church meetings and watch General Conference on TV. We get to hear talks from the prophet and all the other General Authorities. I love it! Today it is rainy/snowy outside and we are all warm and cozy inside. We had a big, late breakfast of french toast, hash browns and bacon and then we gathered around the TV to watch.
(Even Max sat down to watch with us.)
The kids brought home conference packets from primary last week. It is a packet of things to color/watch for or do as they watch. (Jackson's idea of listening to conference is wrestling with the dog on the floor.)
They usually only watch one or two talks before they are done and ready to go play. The kids had a sleepover with their cousin, Brandon, last night so they are quite happy to hang out downstairs and play. They have been playing downstairs so well that Jeremy and I have been able to watch conference without too many interruptions. It has been heavenly!
