When I asked Dalton why he was so excited for Easter he said it was because he couldn't wait to hunt for eggs in Grandma's backyard. We have done this a few years but we have also done Easter egg hunts in our own backyard. I guess, in his mind, the hunt at Grandma's house is a tradition. We don't mind and I don't think she does either so maybe it will have to become official. I love to see the kids running all over the yard, getting so excited over a little plastic egg. It doesn't take much!
