In preparation for the crowds and to help us find each other, I made matching shirts for all the kids. Jeremy and I wore red as well so they could look up and find us easily too. My biggest fear is losing someone at Disneyland. We didn't lose anyone but we had some close calls which made me grateful for our bright red shirts.
Our hotel was close enough that we just walked to and from Disneyland. It was great to be so close but in the evenings after a full day of walking through Disneyland I really wanted a shuttle or something to carry me home. Instead I usually ended up carrying someone home while Jeremy pushed a stroller filled with at least 2, but usually 3 kids.
We started out our Disneyland experience with breakfast with all our friends at Goofy's Kitchen. 
There were 33 of us so we didn't all get to sit with each other but we were all there together and it was great fun. Disney characters wander around the restaurant while you eat so we got to see and take pictures with Chip, Dale, Aurora, and Cinderella all without waiting in any long lines. The kids were thrilled. Jackson was always to shy to go up at first with all the kids but when the rest of the kids were done he would shyly (is that a word) go up and hug the characters. It was pretty cute.
The kids loved being there with their friends. It wasn't really feesible for us all to stay together all the time with different ages of kids and different needs, etc. but it was great fun to run into people we knew all over Disneyland. We would run into other families go on a few rides together and then split up again. It worked out well.Ally and Jackson decided that the teacups were their favorite ride. I went on the teacups 4 times. Yuck! They are not my favorite ride, but it was fun to see the kids so excited about a ride, especially Jack.
We didn't have to wait in too long of lines. I don't think we stood in any line for more than 20 minutes. Most rides were less. However, Dalton did not like waiting and declared (more than once) that the ride was not worth the wait.>
We all had fun in the Mad Hatter's shop.
Staying 4 days in Disneyland allowed us to do and see things that we wouldn't normally have gotten to if we had stayed less time. We got to see the Aladdin show (my pick). It was fantastic! The kids enjoyed it although they would never say it was their favorite. We also got to talk with Crush the turtle from Finding Nemo, see Toon Town, which we normally skip, and stand in line to see the characters up close rather than just watching from a distance.

It was fun to be there this time of year because everything was decorated for Christmas. We even got to see Santa. >
We had a great time! We were all worn out each night but ready and excited to go again each morning. It was a great vacation that we will remember for years to come!>
