4th Grade Science Fair Project

For Holly's science fair project, she decided to test the theory that dogs are color blind.  Jeremy helped her set up a test.  They wanted to see if they could train Max to find a treat based on the color of the bowl/stand.

Jeremy would keep Max in the house while Holly would place a treat in the red bowl.  Then they would send Max out to see if he could find it. 

Max got very good at going to the red bowl, until they changed positions of the bowls.

Then he would just check out one bowl and if it didn't have the treat he would race to the next bowl.

I'm not sure they proved anything, but Holly had a good time working with her dad and she got an A on the project.
